On Sunday July 1st, acre eatery hosted its first Mental Health Awareness dinner for the hospitality industry.
We welcomed 200+ hospitality staff from over 60 restaurants across Sydney together in one room for one night, to start a conversation around the dinner table that will bring about a positive change in our industry. The goal of this event was not to raise money, but simply to raise awareness and share stories.
With 51% of hospitality staff claiming to have ever dealt with mental health issues, change has to come for the industry - and acre eatery aims to be at the front lines of it.
