7 Ingredients

  • Two eggs
  • 1 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1/3 cup caster sugar
  • Butter for frying and extra butter to serve
  • Maple syrup, to be served
  • Step 1
  • In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla. Sift flour into a large bowl. Add sugar. Make a well at the center. Add milk mixture. Mix until well combined.
  • Step 2
    • Over medium heat, heat a large nonstick frying pan. Butter or oil a frying pan. Cook two pancakes with 1/4 cup of the mixture. Cook the pancakes for another 1-2 minutes or until they are cooked. Transfer to a plate. To keep warm, cover loosely with foil. Continue with the remaining mixture. Between batches, grease pans with butter or oil.
